What We Do

Al Ihsan Humanitarian Association’s founding projects began in Somaliland, where the needs far exceed the available resources.

As we continue to expand our support and networks into other least developed countries, we remain reliant on the generosity of our donors—ensuring that every contribution is used directly for those in need under our 100% Donations Policy.

Our schools are in urgent need of refurbishment and expansion. While land is generously offered at relatively low cost by local landowners and community members, the high expense of raw materials and the labor-intensive work—caused by limited access to proper machinery—make these projects especially challenging.

Building a Better Tomorrow

To create the greatest possible impact in building a better tomorrow for orphans and those in need, Al Ihsan Humanitarian Association is advancing progress through innovative ideas and practical solutions. Our goal is to amplify support and provide essential services for vulnerable communities—not only in the least developed countries, but also in the UK, where the cost-of-living crisis in a post-Covid world has led to unprecedented levels of poverty.

Our Primary Focus

Our central mission is to empower communities worldwide by driving sustainable change through free education and welfare. This is achieved by managing and sponsoring schools dedicated to orphans and disadvantaged children.
In fact, Somaliland’s Ministry of Education ranked one of our sponsored schools—offering the national primary curriculum alongside Quran Hifz learning—as the Highest Ranking School in 2022 for best support and learning outcomes, earning the prestigious Best School Award.
